The ancient capital of the island with a market square surrounded by the prettiest buildings in the area. This is also the windsurfing capital of the island where some of the world’s greatest surfers have played.

There are a good number of shops, restaurant and bars, plus lovely golden sand beaches. Las Cucharas Beach, a large, cresent-shaped bow of sand split into coves, has a windsurfing school as well as sailing and scuba-diving.

The islands only 18-hole golf course is only 2km away.
